I'm George, and I run George Scott Fencing, Lawn & Maintenance out of 48 Fulton Ave right here in Pensacola. I answer the phone. I give the estimate. I dig the post holes. I hang the gate. Then, if you want, I come back Thursday and mow the grass.

That's not how most fencing outfits work anymore. You usually get a salesman on the phone, a subcontracted crew at the house, and a guy in a back office collecting the check. Nothing wrong with that — it just isn't how I do it. My name is on the sign, so the work that leaves here has my name on it too.

I do two trades because a lot of properties need both, and there's no reason to hire two companies. If I'm already building your back fence, I might as well keep the grass cut too. One truck. One invoice. One phone number.

I'm not flashy. I show up when I said I would. The work gets done right. If something isn't right, I come back and fix it — no argument. That's the whole pitch.
